Age verification process

Real Age will automatically verify your customer's ages primarily through database lookups after the customer places their order.

The order details will be matched through several databases to determine the customer's age. If a record can be found matching the customer's details, then their age will be checked to make sure they are qualified for purchase.

If a customer's age can be verified through a database lookup, the order's tags will be updated to include Real Age Db Checked .

ID verification

Only if the customer's details cannot be verified through via a database, then the customer will be prompted to submit their ID for verification.

Real Age will automatically deliver the ID check to the customer via email and/or SMS. While the customer's age is being verified from their drivers license or passport, the order will be tagged with ID check in progress .

Once the customer's age can be verified, then it will update to Real Age ID checked .

Underage submissions

If the customer is found to be underage by a database lookup or by ID verification, then the order's tags will be updated to Underage .
